FORCE MAJEURE POLICY
Isla Paraiso Expedition shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred by its guests, including but not limited to any defect in any aircraft, watercraft or vehicle operated, missed and cancelled flights, unused room reservations, change itineraries imposed by government authorities due to weather disturbances. If the company’s ability to fulfil or comply with these obligations is hindered, delayed, or rendered impossible by circumstances beyond its control, such as acts of God, governmental actions, war, rebellion, epidemics, riots, strikes, accidents, fires, floods, storms, or other related events, the company cannot be held accountable.
CANCELLATION, REFUND AND REBOOK POLICY
Our expeditions are only cancelled in two specific situations: when a severe weather warning is issued and when the Coast Guard denies us clearance to travel. In the event of a cancellation, we always reschedule within the next two days. However, please note that if you choose to cancel within this rescheduling period, no refund will provided. It is important to have travel insurance that can cover any unexpected cancellations. Please be aware that we will only issue a full refund if Isla Paraiso Expedition cancels the entire trip. If you decide to cancel your trip, a cancellation fee of 2,000 php will be charged. Additionally, if the notice of cancellation is received less than 15 days before your schedule trip, 50% of your full payment will be forfeited. If you cancel your expedition within 3 days of the scheduled date, no refund will be given. Furthermore, if you fail to show up for your scheduled departure, no refunds will be made. Rebooking is possible up to 15 days before the schedule expedition date, subject to approval. Please note that a rebooking fee of 1,500 php will be charged for this service.
HEALTH CONDITIONS OF THE PARTICIPANTS
By participating in an Expedition, you confirm that you possess the necessary physical and mental fitness and do not have any conditions that could pose a risk to yourself or other participants. We retain the right, at our sole discretion, to accept, reject, or remove any participant who fails to meet these qualifications. If you have any special physical conditions, dietary requirements, or ongoing treatments that require attention, please inform us in writing at the time of making your reservation. It is particularly important to carry your prescribed medications for allergies or any other conditions.
PLEASE NOTICE: Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is over the age of 21. A copy of the minor’s documentation must be provided, and a separate waiver must be signed before departure.
